Why analog clocks? ⏰⏰⏰

👀 Kids already watch them at school. They know exactly how to keep track of when lunch, passing periods, and breaks are coming.

⏳ You can actually SEE time passing. How much time has passed? How much is left to finish something or get somewhere on time?

💪 They can help with hard-to-start tasks. “Work until the minute hand gets here” can feel a lot more manageable than “go do your homework.”

🛠️ Such a simple visual tool for home + school.

Top 5 Student Habits for a Strong Back-to-School Start 📚

1. Check your school systems every day.
✉️ LMS, grade portal, email—don’t wait until something is missing.

2. Use ONE place to track what you need to do.
🗓️ Planner, calendar, app, paper—pick a home base.

3. Look ahead before the week gets busy.
👀 Know what’s coming: tests, assignments, appointments, practices, work shifts.

4. Start things before they feel urgent.
⏰ Even 10 minutes counts. Opening the assignment and figuring out the first step is a start.

5. Do a weekly reset.
✏️ Check missing work, upcoming deadlines, grades, your calendar, and anything you need to ask about.

Small habits. Strong start. ❤️

👀 I see a few fall coaching spots open!
Academic coaching isn’t only for students who are already struggling.

Maybe your student tends to get overwhelmed by organization, deadlines, procrastination, or follow-through once the school year gets busy.

Maybe they’re doing well, but you want to strengthen executive function skills and build even better academic habits.

Maybe they’re moving into middle school, high school, or college and could use someone on their team as expectations increase.

Or maybe last year—especially that first year of college—didn’t go the way anyone expected, and it’s time for a fresh start with better systems and support.

I work 1:1 with middle school, high school, and college students to build practical systems for:

• Organization
• Planning + time management
• Starting and finishing work
• Managing assignments and deadlines
• Study skills + follow-through
• Building confidence and independence

I’m a former classroom teacher with 20+ years in education and 7+ years of academic coaching experience.

My approach is practical and individualized. We figure out where the friction is, build systems that fit the student, and break things into small, realistic steps they can actually use in everyday school life.

Students don’t always need more reminders to “try harder.” Sometimes they need better systems, consistent support, and someone to help them see the next step.

1:1 virtual coaching spots are available for fall.
