We are moving up our annual open house and craft fair this year to October for a harvest festival!
We need volunteers, vendors, and donations to make our biggest fundraiser of the year a success! We hope to have this year bigger and better than the last. Plan ahead on your holiday shopping or treat yourself with items from talented members of our local community. We will also have a kids zone, silent auction/raffle, food and drinks and, of course, lots of cute animals! Mark your calendars now ❀️🍁

Its been quiet around this page as we took a bit of a break this summer, but the time has come to register for fall kids day camps! Dates are: Saturday 9/19, Sunday 10/4, and Saturday 11/14. Located in Wilton, CA.

This season, we are doing something different. Since we keep our camps small, enrollment is really limited. To be as equitable as possible, instead of doing first come first serve, we will hold a lottery to fill spaces. We will do our first drawing on AUGUST 30, so make sure to register before then. Camps are free and open to all age 7 and up (designed for age 7-14.) Register now at Handsandhoofs.com

Free event Monday, June 29, 6-9pm to celebrate pride!
Come make crystal suncatchers to cast rainbows all year long. Materials and tools provided and no experience needed. Theyre easy to do! Light snacks and beverages provided as well.
Sit under the trees, enjoy the bird song and breeze, greet the animals, and make nee friends. At our ranch in Wilton, CA just 20 minutes from Elk Grove.

Animal spotlight: Digger! Digger is a 29 year old Quarter horse and Welsh pony cross. He rarely ever spooks - he's got "been there, done that" energy that makes him invaluable when interacting with our guests. He does have a bit of a naughty, impatient streak, especially when we dare to make him wait for dinner. In the video, he was all fired up after a recent bath and was playing with Rowan.

A warm invite extended to adult and youth members of our LGBTQ+ community! We are hosting a FREE event at our private ranch in Wilton, CA for folks age 16+.

Materials and tools will be provided and snacks/drinks are always available.

Happy Pride Month from our resident unicorn!
Many of our board members and volunteers proudly identify as LGBTQIA+. Its important to us that Hands and Hoofs is a safe, welcoming and inclusive place to be for all. We know that finding community as an adult can be particularly challenging so we love providing a joyful third space.
