Today we celebrated one of our most cherished traditions—our Fly Away Celebration.

Rather than holding a traditional preschool graduation, we choose to honor this milestone in a way that feels gentle, meaningful, and centered on the child. Formal graduations can sometimes create unnecessary pressure and anxiety for young children. Instead, we create a quiet moment for reflection, wonder, and family connection.

Each child was given a butterfly and invited to whisper their hopes, dreams, and wishes into its wings before releasing it alongside their family. As the butterflies took flight, they carried with them the love, memories, and beautiful beginnings that have blossomed during their time with us.

It is a simple tradition, but one that reminds us that childhood is not something to rush through—it is something to be treasured. We are so grateful to have been part of each child's journey and can't wait to see where their wings will carry them next.

Noodle, our corn snake, surprised us with something special—"slug" eggs nestled in the habitat!

The children were so curious observing this, and it opened up a beautiful conversation about life cycles, how animals’ bodies work, and how not every egg becomes a baby. Nature offers these gentle lessons in such tangible ways, inviting us to slow down, observe, and wonder together!
