Next week, our Juniors will take the CAASPP assessments, an important opportunity to show all they’ve learned and how much they’ve grown. These assessments help measure college and career readiness in English, math, and science.

A few quick tips for success:
✔️ Get a good night’s sleep
✔️ Eat a healthy breakfast
✔️ Charge your Chromebook each night
✔️ Take your time and read carefully
✔️ Use the tools provided during the test
✔️ Stay positive and do your best

Most importantly: don’t stress. Trust yourself, trust your preparation, and remember that your teachers and staff believe in you. We know the hard work you’ve put in all year, and now it’s your time to shine.

May 1 is recognized nationwide as College Decision Day, the day many high school seniors officially commit to the college or university they plan to attend after graduation. It’s a celebration of years of hard work, growth, and exciting futures ahead!

Our Golden Hawks joined in the celebration by proudly wearing gear representing their future colleges and universities. We are so proud of our students as they take this next step toward their goals and continue building incredible futures beyond the Nest.

Please help us celebrate these amazing Hawks and all of the hard work that helped them reach this milestone!

🦅🎓💛 AVID Senior Standout – Huge Congratulations! 💛🎓🦅

We are proud to celebrate Issac Lobatos, who was recognized at the OCDE AVID Senior Standout Recognition event at UC Irvine’s Barclay Theatre as El Dorado’s AVID Senior Standout!

In addition to this honor, Issac was also awarded the Priscilla & Ranney Draper AVID Scholarship, a $5,000 scholarship renewable for four years ($20,000 total)!

Issac’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence truly embody the Golden Hawk Way, and this recognition is incredibly well deserved.

Let’s celebrate two of our incredible Golden Hawk athletes, Drew Jarvi and Emma Esquivel, who officially signed today to continue their academic and athletic journeys at the next level!

Both athletes have earned this opportunity through their dedication, hard work, and success in softball, and we couldn’t be more proud.
