📣 VMSA Community Service Opportunity (Summer)

VMSA is offering community service hours for high school students looking to complete up to 15 hours this summer!

Students will support VMSA families with:
• Online Data Confirmation
• Student registration
• Basic technology assistance and guidance

This is a great opportunity to give back to our school community while gaining valuable experience.

🌟 Bilingual English–Spanish students are strongly encouraged to volunteer, but all students are welcome!

We are incredibly proud of our Eagles for their outstanding performance at the Reach Foundation Shamrock & Run event!

Our runners demonstrated determination, perseverance, and true Eagle Pride as they competed against schools from across the area. Thanks to their amazing efforts and strong finishes, Valadez Middle School earned the title of **2026 Shamrock & Run Middle School Champions** and proudly brought home the championship trophy! 🏆🦅

Congratulations to all of our student-athletes and coaches on this incredible accomplishment. Thank you for representing VMSA with excellence both on and off the course!

📚 Attendance still matters! Every day counts, so let's finish the year strong.

📖 Please remember to return all library books to ensure student accounts are cleared before summer.

💻 Students will keep their Chromebooks over the summer unless they are moving out of the district.

🎓 8th-grade students will also keep their Chromebooks and take them with them to high school, unless they will be attending school outside of the district.

🎉 Congratulations to all of our Student of the Day recipients for the 2025-2026 school year! 🎉

Throughout the year, we celebrated students who demonstrated the VMSA character traits of being Respectful, Responsible, and Kind both in and out of the classroom.

Each month, Student of the Day recipients were entered into a raffle for a chance to win an In-N-Out lunch with Principal Truong at the end of the school year. Yesterday, Mr. Truong made a special In-N-Out run and delivered lunch to the monthly winners, as well as students who redeemed their PRIDE tickets for this fun reward.

Congratulations to all of our recipients! Thank you for being positive role models and for helping make VMSA a great place to learn and grow. We are proud of you! 🦅❤️💙

A lo largo del año, celebramos a los estudiantes que demostraron los valores de VMSA al ser respetuosos, responsables y amables tanto dentro como fuera del salón de clases.

Cada mes, los estudiantes reconocidos como Estudiante del Día participaron en una rifa para tener la oportunidad de ganar un almuerzo de In-N-Out con el director, Sr. Truong, al final del año escolar. Ayer, el Sr. Truong realizó una visita especial a In-N-Out y llevó el almuerzo a los ganadores mensuales, así como a los estudiantes que canjearon sus boletos PRIDE para disfrutar de esta recompensa.
