Hundreds of future Hawks joined us tonight for annual Showcase event! Our Hawktet took center stage tonight and a huge shout out to our very own concert master for being a featured speaker tonight! Go Hawks!

SINFONIA NIGHT! Only a few days away! Please join us for an evening featuring the Sinfonia Orchestra from each of the High Schools in PYLUSD. We will be dedicating and paying tribute to Valencia HS/Kraemer MS Orchestra Director Mr. Bruce Topping! 💙 💛

Meet Emmah!
Emmah is a 3 year member of orchestra. Her favorite memory has been performing at Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa this year. Her favorite piece ever performed was Millenium or Themes from The Moldau! After graduation, she plans on going to Fullerton cCollege and will be majoring in Journalism. Emmah’s biggest inspiration throughout orchestra has been Samantha Mar who pushed her to be a better cellist and helped her whenever she needed it. 
When asked for advice to the rest of the orchestra, Emmah says:
“Appreciate the orchestra family while you are still here, they will bring you some of the best high school memories.”

We can’t wait to see what the future brings for you Emmah. Thank you for being such an important part of our orchestra and contributing to the amazing memories made. We are SO proud of you!

Meet Jacob! 
Jacob is a 4 year member of orchestra. His favorite memories have been every Spotlight concert he has participated in. His favorite piece ever performed was Pirates of the Caribbean! After graduation, he plans on going to UCI and hopefully getting rich. Jacob’s biggest inspirations throughout orchestra have been alumni Kyan, Jacob, and Buchanan as they make his time in the program very fun. 
When asked for advice to the rest of the orchestra, Jacob says: 
“Never quit and keep making memories.”

Meet James!
James is a 4 year member of orchestra. His favorite memory has been performing at California Adventure in Disneyland. His favorite piece ever performed was Millenium! After graduation, he plans on going to fullerton college and will be majoring in film and photography. James’s biggest inspirations throughout orchestra have been all of his teachers. 
When asked for advice to the rest of the orchestra, James says:
“The more you put into it, the more you get out of it.”

Meet Jadon! 
Jadon is a 4 year member of orchestra and Sinfonia. His favorite memories have been every time he meets a new friend in the orchestra. His favorite piece ever performed was Perseus by Soon Hee Newbold! After graduation, he plans on going to Cal Baptist University to pursue a physical therapy career. Jadon’s biggest inspiration throughout orchestra has been Alden Chu because he has been his day 1 in orchestra. 
When asked for advice to the rest of the orchestra, Jadon says: 
“Don’t be afraid. You only have one high school.”
