🚨 You can locate an attraction or restaurant close to you in five minutes or less while traveling… but could you find an AED?

What did YOU see while traveling this summer? 🌴✈️

Did you notice AEDs or Narcan stations while you were on vacation?

🏖️ Beaches & boardwalks
🎢 Amusement parks
✈️ Airports
🏟️ Stadiums & sporting events
🎰 Casinos
🚉 Train stations
🏙️ Tourist attractions

And here’s the real question:

👀 Did you notice them because you were looking for them?

We naturally notice attractions, restaurants, shops, and other places of interest because we’re looking for them and often make mental notes about where they are as we travel.

But what about the equipment that could save a life?

As CPR and first aid educators, we believe having lifesaving equipment available is only part of the equation. We also have to be comfortable in using it and locating equipment when needed.

Here’s what really got me thinking…

Most of my family members didn’t notice the AEDs or Narcan stations when we were on vacation until I started quizzing them about how many we had passed during each adventure. 😂

The stations were clearly visible and easy to find—but I was the only one looking for them. 👀

So now I’m curious…

👉 When you traveled this summer, did you notice the AEDs?
👉 Did you see any Narcan stations?
👉 Could you tell someone exactly where to find one if an emergency happened?

How aware are we of the lifesaving resources around us. ❤️
