Field Day 2026 was a huge success! We had great weather, so many fun stations and games, lots of laughter and the help of dozens of parent and alumni volunteers!

INCREDIBLE! The cheering has ended, the cereal has been counted, and the impact is just beginning.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students, families, and faculty, our Second Annual Cereal Box Mission of the Month collected an astounding 4,361 boxes of cereal for the Victor-Farmington Food Cupboard!

While the classroom competition, daily updates, and friendly rivalries were certainly exciting, this mission was always about something much bigger than winning.

Throughout the summer months, many local families face food insecurity when school is not in session. For some children, a simple bowl of cereal can provide an easy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack when resources are limited. Because of your generosity, thousands of boxes of cereal will now find their way into the homes of families throughout our community when they need it most.

Our students should be incredibly proud. They didn't just collect cereal boxes—they demonstrated compassion, generosity, and what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ for others.

Congratulations to our top three classrooms:

🥇 4L – 1,116 boxes
🥈 5K – 770 boxes
🥉 2K – 492 boxes

As a reward for their amazing efforts, 4L and 5K faced off in our first-ever No Hands Ice Cream Eating Race during the Field Day Pep Rally! The gym was filled with laughter, cheering, and plenty of sticky smiles.

The winning classrooms will continue celebrating this week:

🥤 5K will enjoy a Milkshake Party

To every classroom, every family, every student who carried in a box of cereal, and every person who helped make this mission a success—thank you.

While the domino chain lasted only a few minutes, the impact of these 4,361 boxes will be felt by local families all summer long.

Together, St. Louis School collected 4,361 boxes of cereal, created an unforgettable domino chain, and most importantly, made a meaningful difference for families throughout our community.

What an incredible example of faith in action!!

Last week St. Louis students were lucky to have a visit from Braddock Bay Raptor Research. They brought in three birds of prey from their rescue to teach the students about their food, habitat, migration, flight patterns and more. There were lots of great questions from students!

Wow! We were blown away by Pittsford's St Louis School's Cereal Challenge!!! 4,361 boxes were collected by the wonderful kids, staff and parents. There were so many we needed to call in back-up drivers to load them all!! Please watch the video in our reels to see the domino effect in action! Kudos to all that set up this amazing display of kindness and community support. 🌟💚

For our last Mission of the Month, St. Louis School has been collecting cereal for the Victor Farmington Food Shelf. This is our second year partnering with them in this large act of service. We have already exceeded the number of boxes we collected last year (over 2,000) and there is one more morning to bring in cereal!! The winning classes will be announced at tomorrow’s pep rally. What an incredible gift to pull together as a school community to have this kind of impact.

On Monday, St. Louis School celebrated tropical dress down day which is our Fifth Grade legacy fundraiser. Kids had so much fun dressing in tropical attire!

The students in 3C have been working hard, they have spent the year refining their writing and speaking skills and FINALLY got to share with their families! These are their Biography reports. We are so proud of all of their hard work!

Our SLS Fifth Grade students have been learning about the planetary system and how we measure distance. They worked in groups to chalk the planets in our courtyard! Our K5 and PK3 students took a little field trip to the courtyard to see what they were doing!
