I'll be filling the College Counselor position at Our Lady of Mercy High School in Rochester, NY. I'm excited to roll up my sleeves and make a contribution there!

Friends, colleagues and I are hosting a college event with local experts. At Perinton Rec Center, Nov. 3, 5 to 8pm. Parents and students--get your college application, finance, and athletics questions answered!

We had a lovely turnout for our Saturday event last weekend. The parent questions were great!

Thought for the day: the average national HS student to counselor ratio is 470 to 1. Yikes, students can't get decent help for college-going that way!
