Spirit week next week!

Good Evening Allendale Families,

Please remember that tomorrow, February 11th is a half day of school for students. Dismissal will begin at 11:35 a.m. Tomorrow is also Allendale Pride Day, a day where all students and staff are encouraged to wear Allendale gear or anything Green and Yellow. Next week is school spirit week!! 🧦🧢😷📖🦁

The holidays are coming up soon and we have an exciting program coming to our school! We will be hosting a Penguin Patch Holiday Shop so that you can buy special gifts for your friends and family members. You will be able to shop at school and keep it a surprise for them until your family gift exchange!

Start asking for ways to earn some extra spending money at home so that you can secretly shop when Penguin Patch comes!

The Halloween 🎃 👻🤡🤠🤖 is cancelled but the city of Pittsfield still wants to celebrate in a safe way due to Covid. You can enter the contest and try to win prizes. Let’s spread some Halloween cheer!!!

Friday is wear pink to school day!! It’s also 1/2 day of school and dismissal is at 11:35am

This is the email that went out this evening to all the adults with students at Allendale!

Good Evening Allendale Families,

I am emailing this evening with a few important dates/times and information. If after your review you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected].

Allendale's Virtual Open House will be held on Thursday, September 23rd beginning at 5:30 p.m. At 5:30, all families are invited to join Lynn Taylor's Zoom Link for a brief introduction.
At the conclusion of the introduction, families will be invited to join their child's teacher's Zoom link. Teachers will be emailing you with their individual Zoom Links.
In an effort to accommodate those families with students in different grades:
Grades PreK-2 will begin at 5:45.
Grades 3-5 will begin at 6:15
Specialists and Interventionists will be available from 5:45-6:30.
Our first PTO meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 28th at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Allendale Elementary School. Please consider attending the meeting so that we can all work together to make this is an amazing year for students and families! Please see the attached PTO Meeting Agenda.
A reminder for Orchestra students that lessons will begin this week. Please check for an email from Juliet Wright ([email protected]) for details and specific student schedules.

Tuesday September 28th will be the first PTO meeting of the school 🏫 year 🗓 !! It is in person (this has just changed) at 6pm! We hope to see you there!! The meeting is at the school! 🦁
