Thank you to everyone who joined Team BCSO for "Coffee in the Courtyard" in Adams yesterday. It was amazing to connect with neighbors and leaders from all across Northern Berkshire.

Stronger communities start right here, with simple chats and shared moments.

Last night, Team BCSO had a great time taking part in the North Adams Downtown Celebration!

It was awesome being out in the community, meeting and talking with everyone, and enjoying a night filled with fun, smiles, and hometown spirit.

Last night was truly amazing to see families, neighbors and local first responders come together for National Night Out in Pittsfield. The energy was truly inspiring and having such a large, engaging crowd highlights the strong bond we share with our community.

None of this would have been possible with the generosity we received from so many local businesses. From BJ’s Wholesale Club in Pittsfield, Walmart, and Ozzie’s Food Truck and Catering, and so many more. Thank you for all what you did, and we are proud to partner with you in growing our community.

Come join us for the Pittsfield Annual National Night Out Celebration, a fantastic, free family event taking place at The Common on Tuesday, August 11, from 5 PM to 7 PM. It is hosted in partnership with local law enforcement to build safer, stronger, communities.

Cost: 100% Free and open to the public
What to Expect:
Touch A Truck: Explore and sit inside heavy-duty emergency and utility vehicles.
Child ID Project: A helpful safety resource to assist parents.
Food & Treats: Free food and an ice cream truck on-site.
Hosts: Organized by the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff's Office, and the Berkshire District Attorney's Office

It was a great opportunity to connect with community members, meet new families, answer questions, and spend time with everyone who came out to support this special event. From sharing resources to enjoying conversations with residents of all ages, evenings like these remind us how important strong community partnerships are.

Building Second Chances, One Relationship at a Time In Berkshire County, Second Street Second Chances demonstrates the transformative impact of strong relationships on the experience of returning citizens, with support from the Re-Entry Workforce Development Demonstration Program.

Rain couldn’t dampen the spirit of the community!

Team BCSO had an incredible time at the Dream Center Block Party, where neighbors, families, and local organizations came together to celebrate what makes our community so special. Even with the rain, the smiles never faded, and the support for one another only grew stronger.

Events like these remind us that community isn’t built on sunny days, it’s built by people who show up, stand together, and lift each other up no matter the weather.

A heartfelt thank you to the Dream Center for hosting such a wonderful event and to everyone who came out to make the day a success. We are proud to be part of a community that continues to demonstrate resilience, kindness, and unity.

Today, our team had the opportunity to spend time with so many members of our community at both the Pittsfield Community Day on the Common and the Eagle Street Beach Party. It was a fantastic day filled with conversations, smiles, activities, and the chance to connect with families, friends, and neighbors.
