We are so proud of Isabella for being selected as one of El Sistema USA's Youth Ambassadors of 2025!

Students from all over the Berkshires have come together to make a Berkshire Youth Orchestra and we have our first concert this Thursday at the Berkshire Athenaeum!

This collaboration with Berkshire Music School has been a blast and we hope you will come see our very first concert. Special thanks to the Eagles Band, Pittsfield, for joining us as well!

Thankful to Alex Lau for visiting our Pittsfield High School students yesterday! Alex performed (with our go-to accompanist Mr. Charles on piano!) and gave a masterclass for Gina and Jason. Thanks Alex and Mr. Charles! The kids really enjoyed it!

We are thrilled to announce that Kids 4 Harmony has partnered with the Berkshire Music School to form a Berkshire Youth Orchestra! This is welcome to all Berkshire-based musicians, ages 12-19, who play strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion! See the link below to register!

Berkshire Youth Orchestra — Berkshire Music School Berkshire Music School and Kids 4 Harmony (a program of 18 Degrees) have partnered to host a Berkshire Youth Orchestra this fall! The Berkshires has so much incredible talent and this will be an opportunity for you to be a part of a symphony orchestra with your fellow Berkshire-based musicians!

Lights! Camera! Action! Last night's performance with Grace Kelly at Shakespeare & Company was magical!

Our students joined Grace Kelly, her band w/ a full string section, and (Grammy and Tony Award-winning) conductor Bryan Carter on stage to perform pieces from her recent album: Grace Kelly with Strings: At the Movies! Last night's set included pieces like the James Bond Theme Song, Soul Bossa Nova (from Austin Powers), and the theme from ET!

Huge thank you to Grace and Bryan for the work you did with our students at the rehearsal/clinic the day before, as well!

We had an amazing visit and presentation on Body Mapping for musicians from Dr. Juliet White-Smith (Ohio State University) this week! She brought incredible ideas (and props!) to help our students consider how they use their body when they perform their instrument. She also gave a masterclass for a couple of our musicians preparing for college auditions. Thank you so much for visiting us, Dr. White-Smith!

Kids 4 Harmony is participating in a very special performance opportunity thanks to a collaboration with Grace Kelly brought to life by BerkshiresJazz.org. Her latest album, “Grace Kelly with Strings: At the Movies,” adapts classic and current movie themes for an orchestral setting along the lines of the historic “Charlie Parker with Strings.” The new release will be performed with a full-string section augmented by the Kids 4 Harmony advanced ensemble.
