Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🍎 Today we want to celebrate all of the teachers, educators, aides, administrators, support staff, and everyone who works behind the scenes to pour into students. Education is about so much more than what happens in a classroom.

One of the best ways you can support a teacher is simply by asking, “Do you have an Amazon wishlist?” Teachers pour so much of their own time, energy, and resources into creating meaningful experiences for their students, and even a small contribution can make a big difference.

If you would like to support our teachers and students, anything from our Amazon wishlist would be a huge help and would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for supporting the educators who pour into our community every day.

We want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all the generous donors who are making contributions to our Annual Fundraiser via our raffle baskets.

Pike County Community Arts Center is a registered 501c3 non-profit with a mission to make arts accessible to children in our community. We offer free after school programming as well as home school programming throughout the school year.

This years FUN-draiser is a Pickleball Tournament that will be held on November 14th. At the event, we will be raffling off several amazing gift baskets valued at over $5,000. These baskets are made possible through the very generous donations of local businesses, clubs, and individuals.

Over the next month, we will spotlight one donor each day and recognize their contribution. We look forward to recognizing the many generous members of our community who help make this fundraiser possible.

Every single raffle dollar goes directly back to the Arts Center - that's 100% of every ticket sale! This helps us cover the costs of offering FREE programs for our kiddos.

If you'd like to support PCCAC by buying raffle tickets, the baskets and tickets will be available for viewing/purchase at the Arts Center beginning Friday, October 16. The Arts center is open Monday-Wednesday afternoons. We will also be open during the Fall Color Drive.

Winners will be drawn at the conclusion of the pickleball tournament on November 14th. Winners need not be present to win.

Again, thank you to our donors and everyone who purchases tickets. You're helping put art supplies and creative possibilities into the hands of our students!

🌟 Student Highlight for the week: Meet Emmett!🌟

Emmett is one of our younger artists, and he brings plenty of personality and curiosity into the studio! He loves solving puzzles, building with LEGOs, making new colors and figuring out how things work. 🧩🧱✨

Aaaand then there’s dancing! Emmett loves to lead our in-class dance parties, and if you ask him, there’s a good chance he’ll happily show you one of his many perfected dance moves! 😂 His fun personality and willingness to always ask questions makes him such a joy to have in class.

Way to go Emmett, we can’t wait to see what you come up with next!🎨💛

Our Club 629 students had another wonderful time today learning to create their very own fabric pumpkins! We are so proud of the patience, creativity, and determination they showed as they worked through each step.

And once again, we had the most amazing community volunteers come in to share their sewing knowledge and encourage our students. We are so grateful for you ladies for continuing to pour your time and talents into our students! 💛

There’s something pretty special about watching a student learn a new skill, gain confidence, and proudly hold up something they made themselves. 🎃🧵

Thank you to everyone who helped make this class happen!
