OUTRAGEOUS. FCC states RF impacts to animals and the ecosystem don't matter.

In this Montana case "The FCC said the company’s environmental assessment wasn’t required to address the effect on non-human species, arguing that the agency’s RF radiation exposure limits pertain only to the human environment."

Those 1996 limits for 30 minutes of full body exposure are not safe for humans and certainly not for animals.

This is so very wrong.

Before you think, it's just a cell tower, please think of the family that invested in this neighborhood by adding three bedrooms onto their house instead of moving elsewhere.

Before you think, it's just a tower, think of the young couple trying to start a family who reads about the increased chances of miscarriage from living next to one.

Before you think, it's just a tower, think of the Vietnam Vet who came here to feel safe in his neighborhood, and doesn't anymore.

Before you think, it's just a tower, think of the woman who survived stage 3 brain cancer and has been told she shouldn't be exposed to cell tower radio frequency radiation.

Before you think, it's just a tower, think of the landowners who invested in their ideal lot, with views of October Mt in the front and Yokum Ridge in the back, who now will see a tower 300 feet from the land they no longer want to build on.

Before you think, it's just a tower, think of the preschool owner who's families don't feel comfortable leaving their children in a home after hearing how 8 people, children and teachers, were diagnosed with cancer after an AT&T tower was placed adjacent to an elementary school in Ripon, California.

Before you think it's just a tower, think about all the blue collar tax payers who saved, worked hard to buy a home in this neighborhood thinking the 35' height restriction meant something, and the characteristics they came here for would remain.

Before you think, it's just a tower, think about the fear that the Covid pandemic has created and why our homes must become make shift schools, offices and above all else, sanctuaries, and it feels like the safety and security of such has been heartlessly and needlessly destroyed.

Before you think it's just a tower, think about my two little girls who were born at home, who don't want to leave, but as a parent, I would be going against the advice from the American Academy of Pediatrics if they were to stay.

Before you think it's just a tower, please think of the taxpayers and residents who were blindsided by this, failed to be sent any information about this and failed to be included in discussions that would have lasting repercussions.

Before you think this is just a tower, please think of the homeowner who found the perfect tenant for his home while he works out of state, but when he told her of the tower, she decided not to sign the lease.

Before you think this is just a tower, please think about the neighbors who will have to leave now because they don't want to take the risk of staying.

Before you think this is just a tower, please think about those who have lost their jobs and have no choice but to stay.

Before you think this is just a tower, think about neighbors sleeping in their car at the lake away from it, because they are too dizzy, headachy and nauseous in their own homes to sleep well next to it.

Before you think it's just a tower, please think how you would feel and how you would want to be treated if this happened to you.

Just a tower.
Just a family home.
Just a violation in notification.
Just a deceptive address.
Just no questions asked about the need for a tower in this location.
Just no transparancy.
Just no community awareness.
Just no respect for the legal zoning ordinances.

Five years later there has been no action, no accountability and no progress by the FCC towards updated standards that reflect not only biological harm, but how long people are exposed to RF.

A six minute exposure "standard" from 1996 was never applicable then if you lived next to a cell tower radiating toxic emissions 24/7/365, and its certainly not applicable now.

When the Pittsfield cell tower started transmitting and we became sick due to exposure to RF EMF, it was early in the pandemic and there was no place to go.

So we came here.

I remember the night I was just done watching my family sick in their own beds, and I announced, "Put what you need in a Tupperware bin, we are leaving."

Some neighbors were so sick they were already sleeping in their cars, hoping the police wouldn't find them and tell them to move on.

Can you imagine coming to this unfinished, animal infested space to be healthy because you were vomiting at home?

That's exactly what we did.

The kids were not sick here.

We had low, clean, green RFR readings. When we went home during the day to eat, school remotely and shower, they would be sick.

When we moved here, someone harassed me for a month, threatening to call Child Protective Services for the kids sleeping in a house with no heat, no shower, no insulation.

Yet, they had a doctor's letter stating they should not be exposed to the cell tower.

And we all didn't fit sleeping in the car.

So this became the children's new room, but it doesn't have to be.
