Tomorrow first Fridays at five are back! 🔥We won’t have anything officially planned for this one because our students are going to be in class preparing for the showcase on May 15! Stop by before 6 o’clock to draw with chalk and come through and check out BeatNest if you haven’t been through yet!💿🎧

Join Downtown Pittsfield, Inc., the Berkshire Museum, and BeatNest for a Spring gathering outside on Dunham Mall at 100 North Street.

The Berkshire Museum will bring objects from their education collection about the living world blossoming in spring such as plants and bugs, and they will bring a craft relating to spring!

Music will be provided by BeatNest’s Spin Club students as they share their DJ skills that they have been working on this session.

Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. will host kids’ games and hand out free Officer Winston drawstring backpacks!

Children are welcome to drop in anytime over the course of the event, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Had a great time earlier this week hosting an awesome group of teenagers from in Great Barrington! We hope to have more older kids in the space who are interested in music so we can’t wait to keep working with them! 💫🎧💿

Congratulations to DJs Pixel Pug, Ruffles de Chip and Grilled Cheese for playing thier first gig at their school’s Valentine’s Day dance! ❤️It’s a special treat to watch BeatNest kids go out into the world and use the skills that they have learned and apply them to the community. 🪩✨All three of these students have shown tremendous growth since starting classes and I can’t wait to keep watching them succeed!
