What does meaningful summer math practice look like?

At SAM Pittsburgh, children don’t simply memorize rules. They explore ideas using hands-on materials, visual models, guided questions, and engaging challenges.

This approach helps children understand how math works—while keeping their minds active during the summer.

Our Singapore Math program helps children ages 4–14 strengthen:

✓ Number sense
✓ Visual reasoning
✓ Problem-solving
✓ Confidence and independence

Wondering which skills your child should strengthen before the new school year?

Summer should be a break from school—not a break from thinking. ☀️

Without regular practice, children can lose math fluency, problem-solving momentum, and confidence during the summer.

SAM Pittsburgh keeps children’s minds active through engaging, hands-on Singapore Math lessons that build:

✓ Strong conceptual understanding
✓ Critical-thinking skills
✓ Mathematical confidence
✓ Independent problem-solving

Our flexible summer program is available for children ages 4–14.

Every new student begins with a free math assessment so we can understand their current skills and recommend the right learning plan.
