Older adults in Allegheny County can face many challenges as they work to maintain safety, independence, and wellbeing. Our Protective Services Unit is dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable community members through thorough case reviews, careful decision-making, and continued support.

Our caseworkers work to assess cases and explore how to best serve older adults in need of connection to essential resources, even beyond those AAA provides.
