Pressley Ridge Day School Pittsburgh serves students from kindergarten to age 21 with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and behavioral and mental health needs. Our primary goal is to help students improve academically, socially/emotionally and behaviorally while in our care. As students identify and utilize coping skills learned in the program, students will reduce disruptive behaviors, develop

healthy/positive relationships with others and successfully return to a less restrictive educational environment.

September is all about friendship. Students will be learning what it means to be a good friend and earning double House points for demonstrating friendship during the month of September. 🫶

Next week is House Takeover Week! 🖤❤️💚💙

To show our support for one another, and to encourage our staff and students to encompass the traits of all of our Houses, we will be wearing each House color to show our support and solidarity.

In addition, each House will be taking over the TV in our student entrance on their designated day to highlight the students and staff in their House.

We are Four Houses, but One Family!

Our staff returned for the new school year yesterday, and the shenanigans between Houses have already begun!

The House Champion trophy went missing yesterday afternoon, and this morning the House of Reveur received a ransom note.

The conditions for its return? Reveur members had to show off their best dance moves.

The captors were revealed to be from the House of Altruismo, who returned the trophy to the sweet sounds of The Chicken Dance. 🐍🖤
