"Anthropause” was the winner of the 2024 Marilyn P. Donnely Award in Poetry and was published in the 36th publication of The Critical Point, Carlow’s undergraduate art and literary journal. You can hear Lee Butler's poem at the Critical Point presentation today at 2pm. Scholarship Day will take place in Carlow's AJP building.

The 36th edition of the Critical Point will be presenting on Scholars Day! Join us to celebrate awardees this Thursday (4/18) at 2pm in Carlow University's AJP building. Copys of the art and literary journal will be sold for $5.

"When I think about the history of black people in America, I become sad... Whenever I see historical artifacts about early black history in America it is always things that are degrading. Despite being degrading in nature it does not change the fact that these things are a part of my history as a black person. " Earlier this semester, Faith Otey reflected on her experience with The True Black Traveling Museum and the history of black culture. Her reflective piece is available via the link in the bio.
