As we move into the new year, I’m opening the 21-Day Movement Medicine Reset—daily somatic sparks delivered to your inbox to help us get into motion amidst busy days and busy minds.

Our daily practice includes accessible Sparks from 3-15 minutes long, ranging from a 15 min deep-dive into the three regions of your spine to a 3 min toothbrush-dancing score :P

21-Day Movement Playground

Years ago, I saw a phrase at an art show that became a well-worn mantra for me: "The secret is to begin." I have used it successfully hundreds of times.

And yet, the habitual grooves of "busy" or "stuck" still try to claim me!

Knowing the way back to yourself isn't always the same as being able to take the first step...

I know, deeply, that moving my body is the most reliable way for me to remember who I am. Within minutes, curiosity, play, and the simple felt-sense of my body moving through space can awaken an inherent joy and a vibrant spark of aliveness that felt impossible just moments before.

That is why I’m opening the 21-Day Movement Playground - as a communal and supported way to disrupt those habits of stuckness!

I want to share the tools that help me bypass the resistance and get back into the wonder of being alive.

This isn’t about workouts or resolutions—though you will feel better in your body. It’s a 21-day practice of simply beginning, again and again, to see what happens when we step outside our familiar patterns and put our curiosity into motion.

The Journey

Week 1: Listen & Anchor – Moving with Sensation & Building Foundations

Week 2: Explore & Unwind – Reimagining Movement & Re-integrating Stuck Parts

Week 3: Inhabit & Express – Embodying your YES & Your Unique Expression

The Practice:

12 Videos: Deep Dives (10–15 min): Immersive explorations structured by themes like: Softening, Spirals, Spine fluidity, etc. 

9 Audios: “Somatic Sparks” (3–5 min): Guided practice to enjoy On-the-Go during daily routines or “out in the wild”

2 Live Sessions (optional): 30 min Welcome & Integration Session to bookend our experience. Guided Somatic Mapping & Insight Integration

Does the Winter Freeze & Holiday Frazzle have you yearning for some extra Warmth, Fun, and Restorative Bedazzle?! Well then, join us for a Movement Medicine - Holiday Reset! A Release & Rest Community Dance Experience to help you return to Wholeness amidst the holiday hustle & bustle. 

THIS Sunday December 14th, 11 AM - 12:15 PM in the beautiful new Nova Dance Studio in Dormont - Free Parking. Accessible venue! This is an Adult focused 18+ event.

We will ground & center, dance & release, nurture & rest. This is a skillfully guided, free-form mindful movement and dance experience led by a newly minted cohort of Movement Medicine facilitators and hosted by Ecstatic Dance Pittsburgh founder, Tricia Chirumbole. 

Our Sunday Movement Medicine Experience will include:

Opening Welcome Circle

Guided Dance Exploration for Nurturing Mind, Body & Soul

A Magical Musical Backdrop

A Rest & Reiki (optional) Integration capstone

Closing Circle with Organic Chocolate Meditation (Date/Carrot options) & Community Shares (optional)

15 min Mix & Mingle OR Journal/IReflect 12:15 - 12:30 PM (optional) 

Drawing materials for Reflection & Integration (in last 15 or throughout)

We aim to provide a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive experience. Please reach out with any questions, curiosities, or needs! This class is for ALL bodies and all ability levels (18+ yrs of age)

How to prepare: 

We will dance in bare feet, socks, or soft dance shoes. Please dress in comfortable layers, bring a water bottle, and a journal if you are called.
