PRISM is a social and activism organization at Carnegie Mellon University for those of all genders a

ALLIES is Carnegie Mellon University's LGBTQ & Allied student organization. The organization strives to provide social and activism opportunities for both members and university wide. Weekly or semi-weekly events such as meetings and trips for half-price in Oakland are held, while semesterly and yearly events such as Public Displays of Activism and GAYpril are also staples.

Our Story

CMU Allies is the primary social and activist undergraduate organization for the gender and orientation diverse otherwise known as the LGBTQ+ community at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to creating various social and activism events, we also offer programming designed to provide a community for various LGBTQ+ intersections through support groups and office hours. Our General Body Meetings are every Wednesday from 5 - 6 PM in our office - SoHo (CUC 335). Stop by to learn more about our organization and the events that we hold!
