UHS is offering a walk in flu clinic for students only on Wednesday, September 28th from 1-4pm in Rangos Hall in the CUC.
When preparing for your flu shot appointment, remember to wear a top with short sleeves or sleeves that can easily roll up.
For students with the CMU student health insurance plan, the $30 cost of the flu vaccine is fully covered by Highmark. For students who waived the CMU student health insurance plan, the $30 cost of the flu vaccine will post to your student account. You can submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement using the receipt of payment and it is likely to be fully covered, although not guaranteed. A downloadable copy of the receipt for a flu shot can be obtained in the HealthConnect portal under “Statements.”
For those who can’t make the clinic, additional appointments at University Health Services are available. You can make a flu shot appointment online by logging onto your SIO and using the HealthConnect link to schedule.
