Northland Public Library Northland Public Library enables, empowers and encourages lifelong learning and discovery in a safe, welcoming space for all.

Northland is the second largest library in Allegheny County, serving the areas of McCandless, Ross, Franklin Park, Marshall and Bradford Woods (and surrounding communities). Northland is also a member of the Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) a system of 46 independent public libraries with more than 70 locations that work together, share resources and cooperate to provide a high level of public service to county residents.

It's still on the lower level, just further back adjacent to the Administration door and TV screen that are under the oculus and right next to the entrance to the Children and Teen Services area.

Bookshelf Bingo, our summer reading challenge for adults, is winding down for 2026. Congrats to Greg N. and Patty H., who were awarded $25 gift cards this week in the final biweekly drawing 🥳

Keep reading and marking your bingo card through Monday, August 31, though, because we definitely have saved the best for last: our three grand prizes (Bloom, Book Lovers, and Fun & Games) will be drawn on September 1. Each grand prize includes a cozy throw or blanket hoodie, an insulated mug, books, gift cards/certificates to local businesses, and other goodies stuffed into a Bookshelf Bingo tote bag.
