CLIP - Children's Language Immersion Program

At CLIP, we are often asked if we know Spanish speaking babysitters and or nannies. So we decided to create a post for families and caregivers to connect. Please comment if you are in search of a Spanish speaking care giver or if you are a Spanish speaking care giver looking for more work.

Halloween week at CLIP was ¡fantástico!

What a fantastic week we had at camp with our “deportes” theme (sports). Campers designed and executed their own shirts and used lots of imagination. Some campers made up their own teams. Go Flams! Go Love Team!! And everyone say “camisa”. Next week is our LAST week before school starts and our theme is “comida”. There are still a few spots left! To register go to:

We had a great ending to a great week of Camp Veranito. Campers took home the stuffed animals they made FROM SCRATCH of their favorite pets. Yes, you do see a purple flamingo and a green panda in there! We used our imagination and creativity when it came to choosing our pets!

Have you wondered if your child is too young to start learning a second language? If so, the answer is: not at all. It is never too early. You can start our programs as soon as you feel comfortable taking your baby out of the house! Here is CLIP’s youngest student wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

Looking for after school Spanish teachers. Native speakers are preferred. Fluency is required. We are an after school Spanish Immersion program. We are not a school, so neither a teaching degree nor certificate is required. Experience working with children is preferable. Please include your resume with your application. CLIP | Children's Language Immersion Program | Pittsburgh CLIP provides in-person Spanish immersion programming for children from birth through 5th grade. Our afterschool language program and preschool story time offer children an exciting, enriching, and inspiring environment that allows them to learn about the target language and culture.

Clip is looking for native Spanish speakers or fluent speakers with no or by barely detectables accents to teach weekdays, in person, in our after- school program called “Copiosa” which caters to children in elementary school.
