Tomorrow is our Spring Concert, and we are excited to showcase the hard work and talents of our Mustang students!

Please make every effort to have your child at school and on time. Students will be lined up and preparing for the performance, and late arrivals may miss the opportunity to participate.

What an incredible day it was at Pittsburgh Minadeo PreK-5! 💙❤️

Thank you to all of the families and special guests who joined us for Bring a Special Person to School Day. Your presence and joy filled our building, and it was a pleasure watching our students proudly share their school experience with the people they love most.

Moments like these remind us how special the Minadeo community truly is. Thank you for partnering with us and creating lasting memories with your little ones!

📌 Friendly Reminder: There will be no school on Tuesday, May 19 due to Election Day.

🏈 TODAY is our “Drafted for Success” Bring a Special Person to School Day at Pittsburgh Minadeo PreK-5! ❤️💙

We are excited to welcome families and special guests into the building as we celebrate teamwork, learning, and school community together. Due to space constraints, each student may bring ONE special person to attend.

⏰ Important Reminder:
• Doors will not open until 9:45 AM to allow time for student arrival and transitions
• Please attend only during your child’s assigned grade-level block

For a smooth and safe entry experience:
✅ Enter through the main entrance
✅ Bring a valid ID for our Raptor visitor system
✅ All visitors will complete security screening
✅ Leave large bags and unnecessary items at home or in your vehicle to help speed up entry

Minadeo students in grades K–5 enjoyed an exciting school-wide field trip to Camp Guyasuta as the culminating event of their year-long participation with the Boy Scouts of America!

Throughout the school year, Boy Scouts visited our school to lead engaging mini lessons focused on camping safety, fire safety, identifying elements in nature, and most importantly—having fun outdoors while learning new skills. Students enjoyed pizza and making a delicious s’more on the campfire. Students had a wonderful opportunity to apply what they learned during today’s adventure-filled experience at camp.

A special thank you to Mr. Ringold for organizing this memorable event and helping provide such meaningful hands-on learning opportunities for our students!

Tomorrow is Curriculum Night at Pittsburgh Minadeo PreK-5 from 5:00-6:00 PM!

RSVPs are extremely important as we finalize session placement and dinner counts for families attending.

Families will have the opportunity to attend engaging sessions focused on:
⭐ Kindergarten readiness and transition into first grade
⭐ Building strong math foundations and preparing for upper elementary expectations
⭐ ELA strategies and literacy support across grade spans
⭐ Social Emotional Learning and supporting the whole child
⭐ Fifth grade expectations and preparing students for middle school success
⭐ Ways families can support learning and close foundational gaps at home

We are excited to partner with families for an evening centered on learning, growth, and student success. We hope to see you there! ❤️💙
