A historic day for Chatham University. 💜 Today, we celebrated the inauguration of Dr. Lisa Lambert as Chatham’s 21st president, honoring her leadership and looking ahead to the university’s future.

Dr. Lambert’s journey at Chatham began in 1985 as a faculty member in biology. Over the past four decades, she has served in numerous academic and leadership roles, including Professor of Biology, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, before being appointed president in 2025.

Today marks another meaningful milestone in her longstanding commitment to Chatham and its community. Congratulations, President Lambert!

Summer may bring a slower pace to campus, but the work of supporting Chatham students never takes a break. ☀️💜

Now through August 31, make a gift of $150 or more and choose one of three limited-time Chatham summer thank-you items: a Chatham Stanley tumbler, beach towel, or tote bag.

Throughout the summer, faculty and staff are preparing for the year ahead through advising, academic planning, student support, campus improvements, and so much more. Unrestricted gifts help make that work possible.
