Last week, we were thrilled to host Adria Parrott from STEM Next Opportunity Fund and Contrell Armor from the Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool Youth Development Network (PSAYDN) to meet and hear from the Neighborhood Learning Alliance HSU Technology Career Pathway students!

Our students led an insightful, high-level discussion covering:

Teen Perspectives on AI: What responsible AI usage actually looks like for today’s youth.

Ethics in Tech: The responsibility developers hold when building and training datasets.

Real-World Impact: A lively debate on a recent case of AI going rogue during trial testing.

It’s inspiring to see young minds not just using technology, but actively questioning and shaping its ethical future. Thank you, Adria and Contrell, for investing your time and expertise into our future innovators!
