6 Days Left! Today’s spotlight: Ebony Evans
"Ebony, or as many people know her as, Farmer Girl Eb, is truly one of a kind. I had the privilege of collaborating with her a few years ago to teach students the importance of fresh produce and the power of growing their own food. She jumped on board to support our students without a second thought.
I’ve always been struck by the story of how Ebony got her start. She began simply, teaching kids in her neighborhood how to garden from her own home. Watching that spark grow into a West End storefront and city-wide programming is why I consider her a total community rockstar.
Everyone needs to hear her story of leadership and resilience. I encourage you to join us at the Women in the Workforce event to meet her in person!" - Albert Andrew Garcia, Director of Development & Corporate Partnerships
