Whether you are heading to college, a trade school, or a specialized certification program, or even developing your own business, these funds are designed to support YOU. We want to help you continue showing the world that dyslexia is a superpower, not a barrier. 🚀

⚽️🏆 We are thrilled to share that two members of our PCS family were recently honored by the Western Pennsylvania Soccer Association at their 2026 Awards Gala!

🌟 Louisa Hartle (PCS Alumna): Named the TOPSoccer Buddy of the Year. This award recognizes Louisa’s incredible heart and dedication to helping athletes with disabilities succeed on the soccer field.

🌟 Mr. Druga (PCS Parent & Volunteer): Named the TOPSoccer Administrator of the Year. Mr. Druga has been an advocate and leader, ensuring these vital programs run smoothly for our local athletes.

At PCS, we strive to foster a spirit of service and inclusion, and seeing our parents and alumni leading the way in the community is the ultimate reward.

Today we remember Israel Walker-Young on what would have been his 19th birthday.

Almost a year ago, we lost Israel. He was one of the first students to ever walk through the doors at PCS, and he left a lasting impression on all his classmates and teachers.

Israel had such a big personality. He never stopped talking and was always so quick with a joke - and we loved that about him.

We miss you 💔

✏️ Currently in 11th grade at Passport Academy
✅ Works part time in food service and is working towards getting his driver’s license
🐾 Favorite part of PCS - “I liked the teachers, they are fun to be around”
🔮 Future plans - “As long as I’m working, I’m happy”
📓 Advice for students entering high school - “The 9th grade year may be the hardest. Don’t give up - it gets better.”

💬Advice for those going into high school: “My advice for those transitioning into high school is that it’s OK to try different options. It’s OK to not fit in and it’s OK to try and find those people that you can call your friends. You do not need to conform to anyone else’s standards.”
