Our final Merengue workshop in our FTLOB Summer Bash series is here!
Yes, we will ✨finally✨ talk about adding fast and slow spins to your Merengue. See, I added this last to the series because Merengue is SO MUCH MORE than what many paint it to be. But also, these turns can put you into a flow state, so it’s now time to explore how to use them intentionally in social dancing.
From 7-9:30pm I’ll be playing another great mix of Bachata, Merengue, Salsa + Timba, and maybe a few more things, too. It all depends on who shows up. (I hope YOU will show up!)
There will be food sold by Lulá' La Chula, a dominoes table, and our signature Dembow animations throughout the evening.
Location: in the outdoor pavilion at Allegheny RiverTrail Park, 285 River Ave off Freeport Rd in Aspinwall Allegheny RiverTrail Park . This park features gorgeous grounds, walking trails, public restrooms, ample parking, two playgrounds, and a riverfront view.
Cost: $20 with the lesson, $10 after 7pm. We can accept cash, Zelle, and Venmo at the door.
