The best place to be!💚💛
The Point Park University Alumni Association Board of Directors run a variety of committees that strive to better the University's alumni engagement, student life, and the community.
This month, we’re featuring the Distinguished Student Success Scholarship (DSSS) Committee. This committee selects recipients for the John V Hopkins Scholarship and the Alumni Association Scholarship. Due to the generosity of alumni, the DSSS Committee was able to award over $10,000 in scholarships to deserving Point Park students for the 25-26 academic year.
Stephanie Schmader ’98 ‘23, President of the Alumni Association, is the chair of this committee. Here's what she had to say about the committee: “Serving on the Distinguished Student Success Scholarship Committee has been such a rewarding experience for me. We have been thrilled that through generous alumni donations during the annual PPU Day of Giving, the scholarship funds continue to grow, enabling our ability to award more scholarships to deserving students every year."
We’ve been reminiscing about our Mentorship Etiquette Dinner from last semester… If you’re interested in making a difference in our student's lives, we encourage alumni to apply to become a mentor: https://buff.ly/sX8Nn6K
