Congratulations to Dr. Bopaya Bidanda on winning both the 2024 Book-of-the-Year and the Frank and Lillian Gilbreth Industrial Engineering awards from the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE)!
Dr. Bopaya Bidanda, who has been conducting research in India since December 2023 after receiving the Fulbright-Nehru Senior Scholar award, was recently chosen for both the 2024 winner of the Book-of-the-Year and Frank and Lillian Gilbreth Industrial Engineering awards from the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE), the largest professional society dedicated to industrial engineering. We would like to congratulate Dr. Bidanda on receiving these prestigious honors!

On a recent trip to Africa, Dr. Bopaya Bidanda met with representatives from Lagos State University and the Central Bank of Nigeria to visit the site of the Manufacturing Assistance Center (MAC) at the Lagos State University in Nigeria.
