Career Development is part of La Roche College's Student Academic Support Services. We are here to offer resources to assist students on their lifelong journey of academic and career discovery. Beginning freshman year, individualized assessment tools allow students to explore majors and occupations. Counseling can then assist students in mapping out academic paths that are appropriate to intended

career goals. Career Development services also include a full range offering of workshops, programming and online services to assist students in the areas of internship identification, resume creation, interview prepartation and employment/graduate school searches. Graduates and those new to the behavioral health field - how would you like to receive some tuition repayment? Read on!

Come learn about the Behavior Health Fellows Program on Wednesday, April 12, from 11:30-1:30 on campus in the Campus Center Square Hallway, Lower Level.

Allegheny County Department of Human Services has launched a new program to support those interested in gaining professional experience serving underserved populations with behavioral health needs. The Behavioral Health (BH) Fellows program offers competitive pay, educational loan repayment of up to $45,000*, and a two-year cohort experience including a retreat, professional and leadership development, and relationship building experiences. In exchange, Fellows commit to work for a minimum of two years with a sponsoring behavioral health service provider in our region.

BH Fellows will be eligible to receive:
• Competitive pay
• Educational loan repayment (*up to $25,000 for a bachelor’s degree and up to $45,000 for a master’s degree) OR free access to an approved professional certificate program
• Cohort experience – Fellows are part of a professional learning community with a retreat, in- person and virtual trainings, leadership development, and relationship building experiences throughout the two-year service term

BH Fellows will be hired into key positions in the following behavioral health service areas:
• Blended Service Coordination
• Family-Based Mental Health
• Crisis Services
• Child Diversion and Acute Stabilization
• Case Management for Substance Use Disorder
• Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment
