Pitt in Florence runs a course for our Italian students at the fourth semester+ that we call Firenze Popolare, an immersion in the People's Florence ⚜️ as we build our vocabularies and work grammatical gymnastics. These engaged students enhance each other's awareness (as well as mine, their teacher!) of contemporary Florentine life, the people and spaces and storie da conoscere. A presto to these four galantuomini and benvenute to our summer FiPOP ladies 🇮🇹 Classes start domani!

We had a fabulous, full semester with 102 Pitt students all taking Italian classes at our local school in Florence this spring 🎒🫶 Grazie a tutti per il cuore e l'impegno! Here we are enjoying our final classes all'aperto: panini dal Sardo in Piazza Santissima Annunziata, primi al Torrino di Santa Rosa (after the worksheet..!) and gelati at our favorite gelateria, Perché No?
