Do not confuse Desire with Devotion. One speaks loudly. The other returns, again and again, to do the work.

This has been said to me, in multiple ways over many years. Hell, I'm pretty sure I could reword that to say in multiple ways over many lifetimes.
"Sink or swim. It makes no difference to me."
And there have been many times I have felt like I was drowning. Too many times to count, tbh.

The truth is, this path is not for hand holding.
You aren't given a life raft, or little swimmy arm bands, and there is no Lifeguard.

But we are born with the instinct to survive.
You carry memories on your soul that will remind you to move your arms, kick your legs, pull your head above water to take a gasp of air before being sucked back under.

And slowly, surely, you learn to swim.
Or you don't.

We gather not to escape the world, but to understand how to move within it with force.

This is not escapism. This is not cosplay.
This is Becoming.

And if you choose this path, darling.
Choose it fully.
Anything less will be revealed.

Everything you are avoiding will eventually stand before you.
It is very important that you meet it with intention.

This current, like most along the LHP deal in shadow, places those shadows in front of you. What you do with those moments of recognition determines how the path continues. You can falter...you WILL falter.
But it's very important you don't stop.
