There are TWO emails that were sent over Monday and Tuesday to our current students:
1. Info in summer lessons
2. An invitation to perform at the C.C. Mellon Library Block Party in June.

Please read and follow the directions in both emails!

A cup of soup on a day when I have a cold.
This was not a good day to have a cold, as I was hoping to be out and about at various shows supporting students who were on area school stages this weekend. Know that I'm cheering you on from my dining room... as soon as I finish the soup.

A sunny Saturday seemed like a good time to start some future planning for the studio. 😎

I finished a very full day of lessons and found myself thinking: "I work with the nicest people!" Then, I thought of the Mr. Rogers song It's You I Like." I was going to share the lyrics in honor of the lovely members of this studio (so many of you offered to being me food and supplies when I was horribly sick 2 weeks ago.) Instead, I found this quote, which seems appropriate today on many levels.

Also, it's you I like... and am grateful for.

You have probably noticed that we're supposed to get some snow this weekend. You also know that we're scheduled to have our session to Studio class on Sunday.

Long story short, if the forecast is looking grim, no later than Saturday morning I will make an announcement to move the studio class fully online. We had to cancel one Studio class at the last minute due to snowy roads last year and it was very hard to reschedule, so I would rather just keep it on the same day and time and change the format, if the weather dictates that.
