At WPSBC, Say Something Nice Day is a reminder that our school community is built not just on academics, but on respect, encouragement, and everyday kindness. A simple compliment in the hallway, a supportive word before a task, or a thank you to a teacher can help create a more positive environment for everyone! Help us celebrate by leaving a nice comment for everyone to read!

EDIT: We missed a shoutout to our Adult Program team and participants!

Our horticulture therapists at WPSBC provides opportunities for the adults we serve as part of our adult program called Learning Adventures for the Visually Impaired (or LAVI, for short!) and the students at our School. This trip to the UPMC Vision Institute with the Eye & Ear Foundation of Pittsburgh, organized and led by our LAVI team, provides these adults and students with an opportunity to engage in meaningful work as part of the community. The group enjoyed planting brightly colored flowers, a garden of vegetables, and a variety of sensory-friendly plants.

We're so grateful for this ongoing partnership!
