Student Art Portfolios Welcome to the CCAC Art Department webpage, an exclusive platform dedicated to showcasing the exceptional portfolios and achievements of our graduating students.

The Robert Richard Smith Gallery at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) recently hosted an extraordinary event featuring talented college and high school students at the AdFlux Design Competition. Sponsored by Joe Zeff Design and 898 Marketing, this competition was a highlight of Pittsburgh Advertising Week, supported by professional associations such as AIGA Pittsburgh, AMA Pittsburgh, and the American Advertising Federation - Pittsburgh. In collaboration with the National Institute for Social Media and COHatch, students from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia demonstrated their graphic design skills and competed for a generous monetary prize.

Winning designs were put on display at The Smith Gallery until October 27 and later will grace the walls of COhatch, a vibrant coworking space in Pittsburgh's East End. The AdFlux competition served as a platform for emerging creative powerhouses to shine, aligning perfectly with the visionary ideals of Robert Richard Smith.
