CMU Infant Cognition Lab

CMU Infant Cognition Lab We're interested in understanding how infants learn about the world around them and what they know! Our procedures are entirely safe and not at all complicated.

We have appointments throughout the week including Saturdays. It just depends week to week which slots are still left and hours are flexible as well. What we do:
We run two kinds of studies, Habituation and Toy studies and the whole session takes no more than 45 minutes. If you do come in be assured that you would be with your child at all times. Habituation studies: This is where you child sits

on your lap and watches a short video. We're just looking to see what they choose to look at and for how long

Toy studies: This is where we give your child several toys they have the opportunity to play with and examine. Again we're looking to see what they choose to play with and for how long. While we do not compensate parents for participating we do offer a free gift after we run the study. You can get either a book or T-shirt for your child. Call or email us if you would like to learn more or schedule an appointment.
