Sarah Heinz Advanced Robotics Program was first founded in 2003, and has been competing ever since.
We started out with just FLL competition, gradually moved on to Vex competition, and are now competing in FIRST! This year we should have about 15 kids on our team and we will have access to CMU's machine shop!

On Tuesday, the FIRST community lost one of its own. We are heartbroken by the death of Kendrick Castillo, a victim of the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting in Littleton, Colorado. Kendrick was a member of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4418, STEM IMPULSE, of which his father is Lead Mentor. Our hearts go out to Kendrick’s family and friends, and to all affected by the shooting. FIRST stands with Team 4418 and the entire Littleton community during this incredibly difficult time.
