Our 3’s class had the privilege of welcoming Ross West View Ems as part of our community helpers lesson. Students had the opportunity to learn directly from local EMTs, explore important emergency equipment, and ask thoughtful questions about how helpers serve and protect our community every day.
These meaningful classroom experiences help build confidence, curiosity, and real-world understanding at an early age.
We are grateful for community partnerships that enrich our students’ learning in memorable ways.

Unfortunately, we still do not have power at the school this morning, so school will be closed today.

We truly miss our students and wish we could be together today. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we work through this unexpected outage. We will continue to keep you updated as we receive more information about power restoration.

Hello Hiland Families,

Due to the continued power outage, school will be closed tomorrow, March 16 to ensure the safety and comfort of our students and staff. The estimated return of power is between 9:30 and 10:30 tomorrow night.

We know schedule changes can be difficult, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. We will keep you updated if anything changes and look forward to being back together soon.

Dear Hiland Preschool Families,
Due to a scheduled water shutoff by west view water on Wednesday, March 11, Hiland Preschool will be closed for the day. Since running water is required for safe restroom use, handwashing, etc we are unable to open.
Classes will resume as scheduled on Thursday , March 12.

If you’re hoping to volunteer in the classroom especially for fun activities like holiday parties, special events, or helping out. Now is the perfect time to complete (or renew) your clearances.

Clearances can take a little while to process, and we’d hate for anyone to miss out because paperwork didn’t come back in time.
We truly love having parents in the building & the kids get SO excited when they see you there 💛

If you need to update your clearances or need to get your clearances, Bekah has office hours set aside for you!

North hills school district has issued a delay for today. We will be operating on a delayed start schedule for our morning classes.

Afternoon classes will run as scheduled and are not impacted by this delay.
