The University of Pittsburgh Testing Center (UPTC) and the Office of Disability Resources and Services, part of the Pitt Office of Institutional Engagement & Wellbeing, would like to thank the University community for their support as we implemented significant and ongoing operational changes to the accommodated testing service.
UPTC administered ~9K exams with accommodations during the 2025-26 academic year (and ~12K exams overall), and your support allowed us to introduce new procedures that better supported the teaching and learning community.

We were thrilled to participate in last month's "Co-Designing Teaching for a Gen AI World, Together," hosted by the University of Pittsburgh Learning Sciences and Emergent Technologies (LSET) Hub. More than 125 participants from local high schools, nonprofit organizations and Pitt came together to solve shared problems of practice around the use of generative AI tools among high school and college students.
Educators and researchers considered challenges posed by AI at this Pitt event
It was the first in a series of convenings where high school teachers and University faculty will discuss ways to structure AI use to support genuine intellectual engagement.
