The first week of classes at Duquesne University is here, and I’m really looking forward to working with my students this semester!

I’m especially excited that my Duquesne University Jazz Piano Studio continues to grow, with seven music majors studying jazz piano this semester. In addition to applied jazz piano, I’m also teaching a jazz chamber group and two musicianship / aural skills classes.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with students in several different areas of their musical development—from improvisation, repertoire, and ensemble playing to ear training, musicianship, and artistic growth.

Looking forward to a great semester of teaching, creating, mentoring, and making music at the Mary Pappert School of Music! Let's Go!
