Seven Dragons is proud to announce that Master Susan Kalich and Master Eric Huber have just received their second induction into the Eastern USA International Blackbelt Hall of Fame at this year’s 34th Annual International Conference and were recognized by some of the best martial artists from around the world for their accomplishments. Susan for her Platinum Anniversary Achievement for 20+ Years and Eric for his Silver Anniversary Achievement for 30+ Years. It is with their combined 50 years of training and dedication that they are presenting in their specialized adult survival-style self-defense program Kage Essensu.

Today we had a great course intro class with our Seven Dragons Martial Arts Kage Essensu self defense program. We held a very informative and fun demonstration along side Damsels In Defense self defense products at a private party in Valencia, the ladies enjoyed the interactive session and learned a few of the techniques that our classes have to offer in order protect themselves. We will be seeing some of those guests soon as they are booking a full four hour certification class. We can’t wait to teach more people how to defend themselves!

It was one year ago that Seven Dragons Martial Arts had sadly closed its doors after 18 plus years of teaching hundreds of kids in the Pittsburgh area the art of Tae Kwon Do. Owners Master Susan Staub Kalich and Master Eric Huber have had the distinct pleasure of watching these amazing kids reach their goals and push themselves beyond anything they could have imagined to reach the level of First Degree Blackbelt and beyond. Words can not explain the joy of tying a black belt onto a student who had dedicated years of their lives in pursuit of one goal and seeing their dream realized. Unfortunately, COVID has taken its toll with social distancing practices.
However…Seven Dragons may have taken a hiatus from teaching during COVID, but we have not stopped training. We are concentrating on something we are extremely passionate about. We are taking Seven Dragons to the next level with a specialized adult survival-style self-defense Kage-Essensu. Keep looking for sneak peeks and PM us if you are interested in receiving updates when ready! We are humbled by the opportunities that have enabled us to share skills with hundreds of young people and now we are laser-focused on teaching life-saving skills to adults of all ages.
