This Thursday, April 18th from 12pm-2pm, come to the Uptown Partners office and retrieve free groceries! In collaboration with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, we will be giving away free produce and milk every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Anyone is welcome to receive groceries for themselves, a neighbor, children, etc. Only thing you need is a bag to pack your groceries. If you specifically do not need groceries, spread the word so we can get them to those who do!

Fine motor foil fun! 🪩🐮🐷🐔🐥🐴 Wrap a few of your child’s toys in foil for fine motor work! For an easier alternative, wrap the toys in tissue paper. For more of a challenge, wrap the foil tighter! Watch your child’s fine motor skills at work! Added bonus, this doubles as a sensory activity. Fine motor skills refer to the actions/activities involving smaller movements like squeezing, twisting, manipulating, etc. These skills include picking-up pieces of food, stacking blocks, holding eating utensils, manipulating toys, holding chalk, turning pages of a book & SO MUCH MORE! They are involved with play as a child, but build a solid foundation for everyday tasks as children grow & mature such as eating, getting dressed, writing in school & typing on a keyboard. 📍 McKeesport Area Senior High School (1960 Eden Park Blvd, McKeesport, PA 15132)

Families and caregivers of young children who are experiencing financial hardship are invited to line up by car (at no cost to the families) to receive:
✨ Approximately 1 month supply of children’s diapers per household ✨

Option of choosing up to two different sizes of diapers, sizes 1-6 available, no newborn diapers or pull-ups available, and children do not need to be present.

For everyone’s safety, we CAN’T accommodate walk-ups. Contact Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank for how to get help if you don’t have a vehicle.
