Thanks to the committee for putting such a wonderful event together.
The 150th committee members are : Walt Wible, Ben Engelhard, Katherine Graham, Kerry Anderson, Ruth Horni, Joanne Harbaugh, Verna Haney, Fran Halley, Carol Trapp, Linda Hedge, Dan & Christi Lebak and Pastor Robinson.

Truly amazing what they've pulled together. Mrs Lebak's opening speech was so caring and heartfelt! Love her!

Also - we meant to post this Sunday but it didn't for some odd reason.
Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful women of SJELC - especially to the Women Of St John's! The majority of the WoSJ group are mothers or grandmothers and we love them! Thank you to all the mothers for giving us life, teaching of His life, and His ultimate sacrifice for our sins so we will join Him in the splendor and presence of God and all of His angels. Mary is the mother we are most thankful for (besides our own) because her miracle became our Lord & Savior.

We heard that a lot of familiar faces will be returning in the coming months for the 150th anniversary. Will yours be one of them? Once this group hits 50 members, we'll start giving hints as to the identities of our admins!

We are in the planning stages of a Throwback Youth Group Gathering honoring SJELC's 150th anniversary! It's going to be all ages 21+ so Youth that graduated high school in 2013 and earlier are more than welcome!

There have been so many different types of Youth Groups over the years with many names, so we are hoping to encompass multiple generations and demonstrate the evolution & growth of the Christian Education we all received while attending St John's.

Only attended VBS? That's okay! Luther League brings back memories? We need you! Have photos of Lutherlyn summers? Share them! Remember caroling to homebound members of the congregation after Sunday School? Think back to those fun days spreading holiday cheer! Do you recall a particularly fond LYO trip? We would love to hear!

Even if you never were a St John's member or if you now attend a different church (or haven't been to church in a while - we promise we won't tell!) we'd love for you to join us to reconnect with a part of your formative years that you spent with St John's of Perrysville!
