Mentoring anxious and overwhelmed moms into women who are empowered & aligned. Also: 📖🎙📷 My passion is people. I focus on portraiture and events.

Being able to capture your memories is not only my pleasure, but my honor. I choose to photograph life, not posed, "smile and say cheese" moments. This includes, but isn't limited to, couples, maternity, bo***ir, babies, families, pets, weddings, baptisms and special parties. I look forward to hearing from you!

This past year has been one of the biggest growing years of my life. I am entering a new season, and that season doesn’t include social media for my business.

I have found how much I am loving in person connections and a very slowed down pace of work where I still get to use my expertise and support women and this doesn’t include trying to build a huge online following or online business.

Social media can be amazing. It can be a fun, creative and expansive tool depending on someone’s professional goals. Right now, I am not in a space to climb the social media ladder.

I will be old school. My website will be minimized, streamlined and freshened up, I will make a simple business card and keep my connections in person.

I’m sure I’ll be back one day when I’m ready for a different season. In the meantime, I will keep my personal account (though rarely share there, too 🤷🏼‍♀️). Feel free to request a follow there, but know that I will only accept your friend request if I know who you are.

Thanks for sharing this space with me for so many years and all of my constant evolution. ✌🏻

Cheers to 41 🥂 (and 39 to this handsome fella next week!) In the past year, we chose to homeschool and completed our first year, my husband switched to a brand new position and company after 19 years, we moved, hatched and raised our own chickens, planted a garden that is now feeding us, slowed down, I got certified in a few more things while also slowing down work…. And we are so grateful for it all. There are a lot of non-highlights and growth from this year, too. Don’t be fooled. But every year… every DAY… that I get to be here with these people? Man, I’m so grateful. Happy Leo Season 🦁🧡 Harness the love and play as much as you can. ✌🏻

There’s no switch, but there is so much in how we choose to show up in the mundane of the day to day that can either support or feed our anxiety. And our anxiety lives in our thinking, so any way to support coming back into your body will do wonders for that anxiety.

What is your tried and true anxiety relief tool? Mine is breathing, being outside and when worse comes to worst I take a shot of Anixetu Relief tincture from

Which one(s) are you guilty of? Coffee for breakfast and skipping meals has been mine. Who knew these physical habits could impact mental health so much?

Since being more aware and able to support my physical routines, my stress resilience is climbing and my anxiety is at a bare minimum lately. And depression symptoms are totally gone. 🎉

It’s not an end all be all because there are so many other facets, but definitely put more weight into these habits and how they affect your physical health.

Which one do you want to begin shifting?

Feeling symptoms of depression sucks. Period.

We have amazing pharmaceuticals that can support us, and for many, this is a life line 🛟

And it’s incredible how connected our whole bodies are, making it worthwhile to also dig into other possibilities for depression.

The tricky part is with western lab ranges, being “within” range doesn’t always necessarily mean it’s optimal.

For instance, your TSH might come back at 4 with the high range being 4.2. So you’re “within range” but your TSH is more optimal between 1 and 2. Being flagged as having hypothyroidism at 4.2 doesn’t mean that’s exactly when symptoms start.

Your vitamin D levels might be 32 with the low range being 30. Your vitamin D levels and all they have to offer are optimal around 60. Symptoms of deficiency don’t magically pop up when you fall out of range at 29.

95% of serotonin is made in the gut. So if it’s not working the right way, it could definitely contribute to our mental health.

🕵🏻‍♂️ Be an investoigator when it comes to your health. Your physical health is always directly connect to your mental health. We can compartmentalize them and treat them separately

💩 I don’t know about you, but when I’m dealing with anxiety, my belly is a hot mess.

It’s because it’s all connected.

And having unmanaged anxiety can create chronic imbalances in your gut. Not to mention chronic imbalance with your hormones stemming from the adrenals and cortisol overload from the anxiety.

So, what do you do?

Remember, if your gut can be affected by your anxiety, your anxiety can be affected by your gut. It’s a two way street and you can use it to your advantage.

🥗 Focus on gut health by eating a variety of WHOLE food.
🧘‍♀️ Manage stress: meditation, breathing, acupuncture, supplemental support
😴 Sleep
💦 Plenty of water
🤓 Work with professionals: doctor, therapist, nutritionist, coach

When I was suffering greatly from anxiety, my digestion was a wreck and the anxiety felt overwhelming with no ability to manage it. If this is you, know you are not alone and you will NOT be here forever.

DM me if you need support ❤️

It’s all connected. Don’t under estimate how your lifestyle is affecting your physical health. How your gut health is affecting your hormones. How your hormones are affecting you mental health and all of the other combinations. We can’t compartmentalize our healing.

Gut health, healthy lifestyle and mental health are basically all interchangeable. They are so deeply connected and the likelihood of being able to have one without the other feels slim.

Your gut is the root of your health. It’s your second brain. It’s your immune system. And yet, it seems to be the most ignored part of our [preventative] health.

As a health coach, I’m here to teach you more about your own body, guide you in what to chat about with your doc, and be there to help coach you through implementing changes that will help you reach your optimal health (life, eating, moving, mindset, etc)

When to inspect your gut:
digestive issues
frequent sickness
autoimmune disease
thyroid issues
depression
anxiety
irregular menstrual cycle
severe perimenopause symptoms
PMS
hormonal imbalance symptoms
sugar issues/imbalances

Gimme a 🙋‍♀️ if you’re wondering about your gut.

Practicing what I preach (never 100% though because I’m human). Have an amazing week. 💜

Week in review: so much happened this week. It’s like spring has sprung and if you told me there was “an accelerator for change” applied to this past week, I’d believe you.

This week: I’ve been making bread for the kids each week and love how my brain quiets while I’m in the kitchen and to know I’m giving my kids solid, healthy ingredients in what they’re eating. We spent a week away at our house in NY, schooling, getting outside and working together as a family to prep the house for rent. I’m regularly hit with a lot of gratitude that we have created this life together. To find slower. To find our sacred time together and to be a little against the grain, but always authentic to ourselves.

While we were gone I got in movements with an elliptical, walk and weights. I’ve also been drinking matcha in the morning instead of coffee. And I put together more pieces of furniture than I ever imagined and it was glorious.

Here’s to a new week with the sun setting at 7pm! 🌅
