Thank you to all of our families for joining us in honoring the fall season with our Fall Family Celebrations. It was wonderful to see our children’s ideas and creativity take center stage, and to share these special moments with our amazing community. From the colorful leaves to the laughter and smiles all around, each morning was filled with connection, imagination, and the magic of childhood. We are so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate together and for the joy that each of you brings to The Discovery School.

Together, we’ll explore how thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor environments can spark children’s creativity, curiosity, and sense of connection. Expect a mix of reflection, conversation, and hands-on activities as we consider our learning spaces - classrooms and nature alike - as active co-teachers in the learning process.

🍂 Autumn has arrived on our campus, and with it, the crisp air and changing leaves spark curiosity and wonder in our children. 🍂

This month, we’ve seen children spot red and yellow leaves on the ground, fill their pockets with acorns and seed pods (because treasures), and pause mid-play just to feel the breeze move through the trees. Hands in the dirt making mud cakes, laughter echoing across the nature playground, friends discovering critters in the leaf litter - this is how our classroom community really takes shape.

At The Discovery School, the environment is a co-teacher. The colors, sounds, and rhythms of the season invite children to observe closely, explore with their senses, and connect - with the natural world, with their ideas, and with one another.

Here, the season isn’t just something we see, it’s something we experience together!
