We know a thing or two about running new bookstores!

Over thirteen years in the Lehigh Valley. Every day is a challenge, but it is also our PASSION. Bookstores have to have all the business sense of any traditional business, but also have to have 100+ years of knowledge (NEW books in our "seasons" which are ADDED to all the other books published! The numbers just keep growing!) Connections to a wide variety of interests, be advanced in the technical field, stay in touch with the political climate, be a voice for books that are incredible but don't have a marketing budget, have exceptional customer service that extends to all - all the time, all while doing it on a 2% margin. We're only still in business thanks to years of hard work and connection to our regional and national trade organizations, NAIBA: New Atlantic Independent Booksellers Association & American Booksellers Association.

Like a good library, there is something to offend everyone on the shelves too. The Moravian Book Shop in Bethlehem is one of the reasons we decided to move to the region!!!! ❤

‘Next chapter’: Barnes & Noble College Booksellers to no longer manage Moravian Book Shop A new chapter will soon begin for the historic Moravian Book Shop in downtown Bethlehem.

Brandon Mull, Author Talk & Signing will be with us for FOUR events !!! Brandon's new book is the beginning of a brand-new series - GUARDIANS - and is already #3 on the NYT Best-seller list - in its FIRST WEEK!

His FABLEHAVEN series was our daughter Maddie's #1 FAVORITE series of ALL TIME, and she is livid to be in college so far away she can't make it home. She connected with his books thanks to a fabulous middle-school librarian at EPSD. This week is National Library Week and we CELEBRATE all libraries and librarians!

Tickets are still available for our event at Bethlehem Area Public Library, so grab them quickly!

One of the three schools he is visiting tomorrow had a mix up in the order forms, so we welcome ordering on our website today (link in comments) and we will have SIGNED COPIES available on Independent Bookstore Day too!

10 years!

A throwback from almost 10 years ago at Let’s Play Books in Emmaus.

It’s hard to believe this was so long ago, for so many reasons. This movie still holds top place in many peoples hearts, that Kirsten and Taylor are still two of my closest friends and that my business has gone from strength to strength. I am so grateful for the last 10 years and cannot wait to see what the next 10 years bring.
