🎉 Celebrating 45 Years of Creative Excellence at CAPA! 🎉
The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is excited to announce a special exhibition in honor of the 45th anniversary of Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) school to take place at SPACE gallery in Fall 2025. Guest curators and CAPA alumni, Haley Josephs, Miller Schulman, and CAPA Visual Arts Department Chair, Shannon Pultz——will select works that highlight the incredible talents of CAPA alumni and faculty, showcasing the creativity, innovation, and artistic excellence that have defined CAPA’s legacy for nearly half a century.

The third rendition of the Strawberry Way mural is beginning to take shape! The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership has collaborated with local artists Max Gonzales and Shane Pilster, along with 36 Pittsburgh CAPA middle school and high school students on this project. In a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article, Gonzales remarked that the project "recognizes the importance of listening to youthful voices." Read more about this project: https://bit.ly/3arwwsO.
