Hi Everybody - a reminder - the annual picnic is this Sunday. You should have gotten one or more emails. It's in Highland Park, noon - 3:30, at the Bigelow Grove Shelter. If you haven't signed up yet, no worries. Come anyway! Just let us know so we'll have enough drinks, etc. and please bring a dish to share. Hope to see you there!

She invites everybody to come to a performance of the Renaissance City Choir's 2016 pride concert 'Stepping Towards the Future Hand in Hand. It will be in the East Liberty Church courtyard at 4 PM on June 4 and 5. See the flier below...

2015 PITTSBURGH PA SUMMER PICNIC | Grinnell College The Grinnell-in-Pittsburgh Regional Network joins Grinnell College to cordially invite Grinnell alumni, current students, and faculty and staff in the area for the summer (and families of all the above) to the Grinnell-in-Pittsburgh summer picnic.

This Sunday, Jan. 26 we are pleased to present a reading of 'Day Room Window' play about nine adolescent girls incarcerated as adults in a women’s prison and the circumstances that got them there. Through the eyes of a counselor, we witness their journey toward self-discovery and the possibility of salvation.This play brings the lives of children in adult prisons out of the darkness and into the light.

If you're not busy, the 9th annual Lawrenceville Artists Studio Tour is tomorrow, 10-6. We have 42 artists in various spots around the neighborhood showing off their spaces and work, including me and my friend and Slaughterhouse tenant Jessica Sculley. Start at the Slaughterhouse Gallery, 5136 Butler St!

For those of you joining us on Saturday for the picnic (and that should be everybody!) there was a slight error in the invitation. The picnic will be held at the Elm Grove Shelter in Highland Park (the invitation said 'oak grove'). Sorry for the confusion.
